Obituary for Keith Allen Polzin

Keith Allen Polzin passed away surrounded by his loving family Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at his Aberdeen home. He was 74. Keith was born on April 7, 1942 to Herbert and Rose (Richardson) Polzin in Grand Rapids, MN. The family later relocated to Kent, WA where he graduated from Kent Meridian High School in 1960.

The September after graduation Keith joined the U.S. Air Force. He was stationed at McGuire AFB in New Jersey and proudly served 6 years as a Special Weapons Mechanic.

During the 1970’s Keith moved to the Grays Harbor area and became employed with Grays Harbor Transit. It was during that time he met Robbie. After many years of friendship they wed on August 11, 1990 in Yelm, WA.

Keith loved spending time with his family, watching and cheering on his grandchildren at their sporting events and fishing. He was also an active member in the Gold Wings Chapter D.

Keith is survived by his wife Robbie Polzin; sons Jeff (Kari) Polzin, David (Lyndell) Bauer, and Roddy Polzin; daughters Cindy (Bradley) Muelken, Nancy (Barry) Gourlie, and Rachele Polzin; brothers Dennis and Daniel Polzin; and sisters Linda Covey, Louise (Wally) Thielmann, Toni (Larry) Wirta, Cindy Huntington, and Lisa Stenson. Along with 11 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his father Herbert, mother Rose, and son Ricky.

Keith will be inurned at Tahoma National Cemetery.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Harbor City Church in Aberdeen. Reception to follow.
