Obituary for Lawrence Lloyd Landberg

Lawrence Lloyd Landberg of Satsop passed away Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at Providence Centralia Hospital. He was 90. Lawrence was born on February 14, 1928 to Oliver and Margarrite (Farrell) Landberg in Aberdeen, WA. He graduated from Elma High School and enlisted in the Merchant Marines in 1945. He proudly served 20+ years and earned many metals.

On October 26, 2014 Larry married Janice Dee Ada Whitney at the Satsop United Methodist Church. She survives him at the family home.

After his military retirement, Larry became employed as an Operator in the construction industry. In his off time he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Elma Game Club for many years.

Larry is survived by wife Janice Landberg of Satsop; step-sons Lonnie Brumfield of North Bend and Daryl Brumfield of Satsop; step-daughter Gwen (Larry) Mielke of Elma; 12 step-grandchildren; and 20 step great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother Roger Landberg.

Lawrence will be placed at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent , WA.
