Obituary for Barbara Jean Fries
Barbara, a beloved wife, daughter, mother and grandmother and a resident of Montesano, WA for the last 22 years, passed away October 7, 2017.
Barbara was born September 13, 1940 in Minneapolis, MN and moved to Washington as a teenager. She married her husband of 52 years, Kenneth Fries, November 6, 1964 in Tacoma, WA where they lived until 1995. They then moved to their "little piece of heaven" on the Wynooche river, where she enjoyed doing arts and crafts, cooking and sewing.
Barbara is survived by her husband Kenneth, sons Larry & Cody, daughter SarahJane, granddaughters Carina & Janell, brother Kenneth, nephews Jim & Mike and mother Dorothy Grosvenor.
A celebration of life potluck will be held November 4th at noon at the Country Estates Clubhouse at 57 Clemons Rd, Montesano, WA. All family and friends are welcome to attend.
