Dear Mike and Arlene, and Hume family,
We are saddened for your loss and yet we know, as you do, that your dear mother and grandmother is with Jesus. This does not diminish your loss, but we are hopeful that it eases it a bit. What a great blessing to have had such a godly woman in your family: someone to lean on, someone who was faithfully praying for you, someone to whom you could confide and trust. As we think on this, Irene Hume becomes an example for us all to emulate in the days ahead for our family and friends. You truly have been blessed by her presence and I know she will be missed, but her faithfulness and love will live on in you all. May God continue to comfort you all during these days ahead.
