Karol Jean Green, 77, moved on to her next adventure on July 13th, 2016 at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, Wa.
She was born on March 8th, 1939 in Elma, Wa. to Richard and Hazel King. Karol grew up in Elma and Aberdeen, WA. She attended St. Mary’s Catholic School and graduated from Aberdeen High School in 1957.
Karol Spent many years working in Grays Harbor County before moving to Seattle where she began a career in property management.
In 1990, Karol moved back to Aberdeen to be with family and friends where she began her antique refurbishing business.
Karol married her best friend Bobby Green in Seattle Washington. He survives at the family home in Aberdeen along with their feline friend Relay (Relay 4 Life).
Karol is also survived by her children, Kathy McKinney of Bellingham, WA; Kristy Ward of Aberdeen, Wa.; and Stanley McKinney of Hoquiam, Wa.; as well as 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, located at 306 East 3rd Street in Aberdeen, on Friday August 12th at 10:45 a.m.
Karol touched so many lives with her kindness that she will be greatly missed, yet never forgotten.
