Jeremy “Jay” “JJ” Lane Johnson passed away on March 14th, 2023 at Summit Pacific Medical Center. Jay was born on April 12th, 1977 to Dennis Johnson and Lynn Fitzgerald (Thomas) in Ogden, Utah. He was raised in Post Falls, ID, and graduated from Post Falls High School. Jeremy also attended the University of Idaho.

Jay married on July 7th, 2007 in Lewiston, Idaho to his wife, who now survives him, Jael Carrol. Jay and Jael have two beautiful kids. He was a mega enthusiast of Star Wars. Jay loved playing many instruments such as the guitar, ukulele, and saxophone. He was interested in all things engineering which also played into his fondness for coding languages and telescopes.

Jay is survived by his wife Jael Johnson of Aberdeen, WA; daughter Sophie Lynn Johnson of Aberdeen, WA; son Gabriel Lane Johnson of Aberdeen, WA; parents Lynn (John) Thomas of Syracuse, UT, and Dennis (Katy) Johnson of South Willard, UT; brother Daniel Dennis Johnson of West Point, UT; and many extended family and friends.
