Obituary for Calvin Ernest Leithold
Calvin Ernest Leithold, loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend passed away Friday, March 12, 2021. He was 72 years old.
Calvin was born on December 7, 1948 to Emil & Dolores Leithold in Aberdeen, WA.
He lived in Montesano, WA and during high school worked at a local dairy farm there. He graduated from Elma High School in 1968 and met the love of his life April and were married on August 16, 1968 in Coeur de Alene, ID. After 51 years of marriage Calvin was preceded in death by his wife April Leithold on March 24, 2020.
In his spare time Calvin enjoy being outdoors doing several activities such as hunting, fishing, camping, clam digging, and going on Jeep runs with friends and family. He also liked playing on his harmonica, looking at old cars, and saw filing. Calvin most of all love spending time with his family and loved ones. He had a heart of gold and was always there to help.
Calvin is survived by his son Kurtis (Sarah) Leithold of Olympia, WA; daughters Kristie (Brian) Bell of Elma, WA and Tina Davis of Olympia, WA; brothers David (Sandy) Leithold of Montesano, Phillip (Karen) Leithold of Elma, WA, and Tim (Molly) Leithold of Cosmopolis; sisters Phyliss (Louis) Ulakovich of Elma, WA, Debbie (Rod) Burgess of Hoquiam, WA, Barbara (Dave) McMichael of Aberdeen, WA, and Laurie (Tim) Smith of Cosmopolis, WA; as well as 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Emil and Dolores Leithold and his wife April Leithold.
A celebration of life will be held for Calvin on April 10, 2021.
