Obituary for Gary Allan "Groover" Lebon

Gary Allan Lebon (Groover) of Hoquiam passed away at his home on Thursday, May 14, 2020. He was 63. Gary was born in Aberdeen, Washington on December 7, 1956 to Eugene and Rose (Steinback) Lebon.

He was raised in Hoquiam and was part of the Hoquiam High School class of 76. He had also lived in Montesano before moving back to Hoquiam.

During his life on the harbor Gary had become a log truck driver and owned his own business for over 30 years. He was currently employed by MacMillan Trucking.

Fishing, camping, boating, and working on anything with a motor were just some of the many hobbies he had. His passions in life were spending time with his family, his dog Chubby and driving his log truck.

Gary is survived by his mother Rose Stevenson of Kenmore, WA; his Daughters Shanon (Joe) Cooper of Berthoud, CO., Rachel (Lee) Polz of Elma, WA., Jamie Lebon of Lacey,
WA. and a son Cody (April) Lebon of Shelton, WA. Gary is also survived by his three brothers Mike Lebon of Venita, OR; Greg Lebon of Monroe, WA; and Geoff Lebon of Seattle, WA and by his 4 grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces. He is preceded in death by his father Eugene Lebon.
