Bill was my radio-man and comrade-in-arms when the enemy began to shell us one morning and we ducked into the next bunker which was better built. Sure enough our bunker was hit and destroyed. I'll never forget how God saved us that morn. Bill and I corresponded over the years and he visited us once in Texas. A close and dear friend has gone on to his reward and he will be missed by us and his many friends. RG
