Obituary for Sharon Maureen Edmunds (Sharp)
Sharon Maureen Edmunds passed away at her home in Elma on Thursday, July 7, 2011. She was 76. Sharon was born September 5, 1934 in Seattle, WA to Morris and Opal (Allen) Sharp.
Sharon was raised in Renton, WA and attended Renton High School. In 1952 Sharon married James Luby, they later divorced. In 1974 she married Ronald Edmunds and he passed away in 1982.
Sharon had worked as a nurse’s aid and in housekeeping. She enjoyed knitting and doing crossword puzzles.
Sharon is survived by her sons, Dale of Seattle; Randy of Las Vegas, NV; and Allen (Sadie) Luby of Elma, six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband Ronald, Sharon was also preceded in death by her son Michael Luby, her brother Morris Sharp Jr. and her baby sister Donna Sharp.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, July 11, 2011 in the chapel at Harrison Family Mortuary, 311 W. Market St. in Aberdeen.
