Obituary for Roger Tetrault

Loving father, son, brother, grandfather and friend Roger Dale Tetrault passed away Friday, January 18, 2019. He was 63. Roger was born on February 22, 1955 to Gilbert and Betty Lou Tetrault in Portland, OR where he attended school and graduated from John Adams High.

Roger was employed in Portland at Steinfelds Products Co. He was also a Shop Steward and proud member of the Teamsters Union. Though Roger enjoyed work, he spent his downtime shooting 8 and 9 ball pool with other APA league members, listening to music, fishing, and clamming. He was also a spontaneous man who went on many adventures where he would enjoy the open road, nature and all parts of the coast.

As a member of the Turtle Mountain Band of the Chippewa Tribe, Roger felt proud and shared his heritage and family stories with all who would listen. His heritage taught him the value of family and because of that he lived his last days with his daughters and granddaughter. The love, laughter, and memories made with his family was the reason he had that infectious smile all will remember him by.

Roger is survived by his daughters Arika Boyd and Tiffany Tetrault both of Aberdeen, WA; mother Betty Jones of Gresham, OR; sisters Linda (Bim) Lewis, Lori Tetrault, and Leslee Wilcher all of Portland, OR; and granddaughter Sundae Boyd. He was preceded in death by his father Gilbert and brothers Gaylen and Mark.

A private family service will take place in Portland, OR.
