Obituary for Diana Sue McCullough (Lyons)

Loving mother and grandmother Diana Sue McCullough of Hoquiam passed away Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Grays Harbor Health and Rehabilitation Center with her family by her side. Diana was born May 11, 1948 in Rochester, New York and raised in Napa, California. She had also lived in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma before moving to Grays Harbor. On December 18, 1965 Diana married Gary McCullough in Reno, Nevada.
Diana graduated from Grays Harbor College in 1977 and worked as an LPN until she retired in 2002.
Diana was an active member of the LDS church in Aberdeen. She enjoyed playing BINGO, interacting on Facebook, doing puzzles and loved spending time with her family.
Diana is survived by daughters Sheila (John) Bradshaw of Hoquiam and Cheryl McCullough of Goldendale; siblings Doug Staggs and Dalinda Peters both of Aberdeen; grandchildren Kristina (Morgan) Griensewic, Gary (Shannon) Wirshup, Michael (Megan) Griensewic, Chris Wirshup, Bobby Wirshup, Jeremiah (Darcy) Wirshup, and Rodney Hamm; great-grandchildren Alyssa, Tonya, Elaina, David, Shain, Anthony, Carson, Jaydyn, Maximus, Gavin, Jace, Jackson, Landon, Kaysie, Riley, and Jaylah; and many other family, friends, and church members who will miss her dearly.
Diana was preceded in death by her husband Gary, grand daughter Kasie Griensewic, her mother Cedaliah Staggs, and two sisters Donna Fowler and Debra Leger.
A celebration of Diana’s life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 12, 2018 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2735 Riverview Dr, Aberdeen.
