Obituary for Kevin Lee Richardson

Kevin Lee Richardson, died at home on July 13, 2018, in Ocean Shores, Washington. He was 68. Kevin was born November 10, 1949 in Poulsbo, Washington. He graduated from Cascade High in 1968 in Everett, Washington, and received an Associates degree from Everett Community College. Prior to earning his degree Kevin enlisted in the US Navy and was a Vietnam Veteran.
Kevin always remained proud of serving his country and was a Life member of VFW Post 1135 in Hoquiam, WA, and the Vietnam Veterans Association. Kevin became a volunteer Firefighter at Snohomish County Fire District 11, and was later hired as a full-time Firefighter at Paine Field and was later hired by District 11, where he retired in 1990.
Kevin will be lovingly remembered and missed by his wife of 32 years Pat. He is survived by his children, Rhonda (Bo) Tatum and Kevin (Tia) Richardson, Jr. and stepsons, Greg McMorris and Davis (Tracey) McMorris and grandchildren. Kevin will also be remembered forever by his mother, Terry Welborn, brother, Tom Richardson, sisters, Sharon (Ron) Pooler and Cynthia (Steve) Wagner and many nieces and nephews. Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Tom Sr. and nephew, Ronnie Pooler, Jr.
Family, friends, and others whose lives Kevin touched are invited to 2222 Jade Ave, Everett, Washington, from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, August 18, 2018, for a Celebration of Life. In lieu of flowers donations should go to our nearest VFW Post Relief Fund. No one does it better for Veterans.
