Obituary for Carolyn Jean Stewart (Shefler)

Carolyn Shefler Stewart of Hoquiam passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at Montesano Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was 69. Carolyn was born Sept. 20, 1948 in Elma, Wash. to Donald and Shawnie (McPherson) Shefler. She was raised in Montesano and graduated from Grays Harbor College.
She attended Harbor City Church and enjoyed Bingo, reading, spending time with her family and sports.
Carolyn is survived by her son Shane Voss of Palm Beach, FL; two sisters Shawnie Shefler Drake and her husband David of Montesano, Mary Shefler Smith and her husband Michael of Spanaway; and several nieces and nephews whom she loved very much.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers David and John Shefler.
A celebration of life and potluck is planned for 1:30 to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, July 29th at Harbor City Church, 1700 Cherry St. in Aberdeen.
Arrangements are entrusted to Harrison Family Mortuary in Aberdeen.
