Sitareh Gwen Annah, a.k.a. Gwen Anderson / Pevey, left this life on Friday, June 8, 2018, in Westport, WA, following a slow decline due to Alzheimer's Disease. Gwen was born on April 11, 1937 to Charlotte and Walter Jacobsen. She grew up in Samoa, CA with her brother, Eldon. In 1955, she married Donald Anderson and together they had six children, eighteen grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren. She enjoyed writing, sewing and crafts, organizing special events, decorating her home, and working in her garden. After she was diagnosed with dementia in 2014, she was taken in and cared for by her family. Gwen was laid to rest next to her second husband, Dennis Pevey, at Wynoochee Cemetary in Montesano, WA, on Friday, June 22, 2018, surrounded by her family.
