Obituary for Clare Lyle Campbell

Clare Lyle Campbell
Clare L (Nick) Campbell was transported to heaven on May 25, 2018, after spending 87 years of a productive, fun filled life.
He loved his wife, Blanche and his children; Susan Campbell, Brian Campbell (Carla), Janis Aikens (Tony) and Mike Campbell; his grandchildren; Michelle Campbell, Steven Campbell (Natalie), Evie Aikens and Zealand Aikens; two great grandchildren; Rory Campbell and Leighton Filmon; his brother Charles Campbell (Wilma) and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was a teacher who loved his students and created lessons that made learning fun and entertaining. After retirement he joined the Washington State Retirees and was active in the local, Grays Harbor Pacific School Retirees Association.
He loved music and spent many hours practicing and performing. The Grays Harbor Banjo Band was a big part of his life, and most recently singing “God Bless America” with them at their May 19th performance. He loved the Montesano Presbyterian choir and often did solos for the church. Square dancing allowed him to move to the music.
He lived his life well, loving and valuing people whatever their background or circumstances. He cared for all living things.
A celebration of life is planned for June 7th, at 2:00 P.M. at the Montesano Presbyterian Church.
