Obituary for Ivy Lynn Stratton

Ivy Lynn Stratton, 57, of Hoquiam passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at Grays Harbor Community Hospital. Ivy was born April 26, 1960 in Bethesda, Maryland to Forrest and Elsie (Adkins) Stratton.
Ivy was raised in Burien and graduated from Highline High School in 1978. Following high school, she enlisted and proudly served in the United States Navy. She had been stationed in Corpus Christy, Texas, Misawa, Japan and San Diego, Calif. After being in the service Ivy worked in food service, janitorial and healthcare.
She was an avid reader and loved old movies.
Ivy is survived by her father Forrest Stratton of Hoquiam, Wash.; three brothers, Roger Stratton of El Paso, Texas, Rex Stratton of Ocean Shores, Wash., Joseph Stratton of Everett, Wash. and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service with military honors is planned for 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Wash.
