Condolence: I was very sorry to hear of Les's death, and my condolences to his family. Les worked for my dad for awhile at Modern Way Grocery in Moscow in the 1960's, and then he was my "Distributive Ed" teacher and DECA moderator for at least a couple of years in high school. He was one of the nicest guys around.

Condolence: Mr. Lande,
One of the good ones who truly cared about his students. In the 2 years that I was lucky enough to be his student, he taught me things that books could not. I will never forget his smile, his larger than life tales and his enthusiasm for learning and life. He truly was one of a kind and inspired me to become a teacher. You may be gone, but your legend lives on. Just like the North Rover yearbook staff page says; Led Lande, the man, the myth, the legend. I would normally say rest in peace, but that's not you. So go climb those mountains and live it up.
