Obituary for Joan Ruth Jackson

Joan Ruth Jackson, 79, of McCleary passed away at her home on Friday, September 1, 2017. Joan was born February 27, 1938 in Paradise, California to Robert and Goldie (Taylor) Graham. She was raised in Elma and attended Brady Grade School and Elma High School.
She married Linton “Curly” Wainright in 1974; he passed away in 1989. On August 27, 2001 Joan married Charles Jackson in Longview, Texas; he survives her at the family home.
Joan had worked as a cook, waitress, barmaid in local restaurants and also owned and operated two family restaurants. In her later years she worked as a caregiver.
She loved to crochet; making many beautiful doilies which she loved to share with her family and friends.
Joan was a member of the Apostolic Wells of Living Water Church in Satsop.
In addition to her husband Charles, Joan is also survived by her three daughters Debi (Wayne) McCloy, Glynda (Michael) Lillie, Brenda (Steve) Dudics, 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and her beloved caregiver Adrea Herrera.
There will be no formal services. Arrangements are entrusted to Harrison Family Mortuary of Montesano.
There will be a "Celebration of Life" pot luck at the Apostolic Wells of Living Water, 20 Matthews Rd, Satsop, WA, Sept 23, 2017 at 1PM.
