Obituary for Pamela Jean Phillips (Shirley)

Pamela Jean Phillips passed away Monday, August 14, 2017 at her home in Westport, Washington. She was 71. Pamela was born August 11, 1946 in Bottineau, North Dakota to Lloyd and Opal (Fahrnkopf) Shirley. The family moved to Wyoming when Pamela was 2 years old, then to Seattle when she was 13.
Pamela attended Sealth High School. She had also lived in Auburn and Belfair before moving to Westport in 2006.
On September 1, 1972 she married Charles “Neil” Phillips in Seattle, Washington. He survives her at the family home.
Pamela had worked for McConkey’s in Sumner, Wash and Sound Manufacturing in Kent Washington. She loved to cook and spend time with her family and also enjoyed crocheting, being a homemaker and camping.
In addition to her loving husband Charles, she is also survived by her sister Penny Johnson of Westport; 4 brothers Ronald Shirley; David Shirley of Seattle; Larry of Westport and Loren of Orting, Wash.; 7 nieces, 7 nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews.
There will be no formal services.
Arrangements are entrusted to Harrison Family Mortuary of Aberdeen.
