Obituary for Richard Lee Yucha

Richard Lee  Yucha
Lifelong Grays Harbor resident Richard Lee Yucha passed away Monday, May 11, 2009 at his home in Aberdeen. He was 61. Richard was born December 3, 1947 in Aberdeen, WA to Charles and Emmy Lou (Pearson) Yucha. Richard was raised in Cosmopolis and graduated from Weatherwax High School in 1967. He also attended Grays Harbor College and Union 76 Operations Service School.
On February 11, 1984 he married Cheryl Ann Smith at Emanuel Baptist Church in Hoquiam. She survives him at the family home.
Richard had worked for the Grays Harbor Sheriff Reserves, Triple City Mowers & Repairs, Ocean Spray and Sierra Pacific. He belonged to New Beginnings Open Bible Fellowship and Christian Life Center.
In addition to his wife Cheryl, Richard is survived by his father, Charles of Cosmopolis; sons, Isaac and Aaron Yucha both of Aberdeen; Step children, Timothy Clancy and Heide Clancy both of Bremerton; Cynthia LeVering of Aberdeen; Penny Iames of Salem, Oregon; Christine Smith of Dallas, Oregon; brothers, Al of Cosmopolis, Robert Yucha of Napa, Calif. and six grandchildren.
A memorial service is set for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 16, 2009 at the New Beginnings Open Bible Fellowship located at 301 North “B” St. in Aberdeen.
