Obituary for Gregory Eugene Sorensen
Gregory Eugene Sorensen, long time Westport resident, passed away on the 25th of July, 2017, at the seasoned age of 65. He had been preceded by his beloved wife Marilyn, outgoing son Ryan, and hardworking father Eugene.
Greg was a man who lived life to the very fullest. He was privileged to spend his entire lifetime fishing the ocean and hunting the woods, passions handed down to him by his father. After attaining a degree in welding, Greg also worked as a millwright and was known for having a wide range of carpentry skills. He enjoyed spending much of his time helping others, especially with projects around the house. He also had a deep love for football and handed down his fierce loyalty to the Huskies and Seahawks to his son.
Greg surrounded himself with family and the very best of friends! He leaves behind his son and greatest pride, Eric, his loving mother, Ruth, sisters Caron and Connie Rae his childhood playmates, and a long time love, Estela Lumbreras, who brought him great comfort and companionship in his later years. These are just a few of his many cherished friends and family. All are welcome to come celebrate his rich and full life at The Knotty Pine date still to be determined.
