Obituary for Bryce Fay Moody

Bryce F. Moody of Hoquiam passed away Sunday, July 16, 2017 after a brief illness. Bryce was born on December 24, 1950 to Mack and Beatrice in Raymond, WA.

Daddieo attended Hoquiam Schools. Afterward he served in the U.S. Army from 1970 to 1972 and retired from Dahlstrom Lumber in 2013 after 30 years of employment.

His passion for hot rods lead him to be an active presence in the Street Rod Community (Push Rods, Palm Springs Cruisin Assoc., American License Plate Assoc.) and later forming Moods Art Works with soul mate Patti Baldwin. He also enjoyed antiques, collectables and spending winters at Casa Da Moods in Deserts Edge, Ca.

Bryce is survived by his soul mate Patti Baldwin; children Bryce (Katie) Moody of Los Angeles, CA and Susan Moody of Hoquiam, WA; sisters Gayle Moody of Hoquiam, WA and Lisa Russell of Lake Stevens, WA ; and grandchildren Madelyn Pansri and Sloan Moody.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 6th 2017 at Hoquiam Elks Lodge, 624 K St. To honor Bryce bring your Hot Rods and stories. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in Bryce’s name.
