Condolences

Condolence From: Matthew
Condolence: Sorry to hear of Kay's passing. Met her years ago, shortly before Ken's death. She even had me stop by a few times to show off her garden and flower baskets. Gave me graham crackers and a bottle of water while we discussed the near unstoppable slugs that would invade overnight. She enjoyed the flower baskets that lined her back deck and carport. I'll remember her as a fighter, that wound on her leg that took two years to heal, no way she was going to have that amputated. Dr. Macs was a big help with that situation. Oh, and that PT Cruiser. She was very fond of that. Liked the styling, zipped around in that proudly. She'd make me banana bread for "special occasions", mostly holidays such as Easter and Thanksgiving, but dropped a loaf off once just because. Hope I'm not the only one who enjoyed her banana bread. A lot of work just far a couple loafs. She talked briefly of her work with the murals around town, I think she was disappointed that they fell to the wayside. She understood that funds were never given for upkeep. Sorry to see you go Kay.
