Obituary for Jerry Lee Springer

Lifelong Elma resident Jerry Lee Springer passed away at his home on Monday, April 17, 2017. He was 78. Jerry was born February 26, 1939 in Elma to Clarence and Georgia (Fix) Springer.
Jerry served in the U.S. Navy and the Washington National Guard for 23 years combined.
Jerry owned and operated JLS Marble and Granite. He was a life member of the VFW and was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, golfing, cooking, bowling, car races and watching sports.
Jerry is survived by his two sons Lynn and Rick Springer; brother David Springer of Elma; four sisters Helen Woods of Federal Way, WA, Linda Harvey of Centralia, WA, Penny Loudon of Surprise, AZ and Anita Springer of Lynnwood, WA and many nieces and nephews. Along with his two very good friends Gerald Brandner and Jim Kniert.
He was preceded in death by his wife Lillian, parents Clarence and Georgia, brother Ed Springer and sister Dawn Woodard.
At Jerry’s request no formal services will be held.
