Condolence: I had the privilege of meeting Mr Putnam, or Kimberlys dad a few years ago when he came out to visit with her and her husband Barry I was living with them at the time. From the outside it was wonderful to see them have a wonderful time together. It was wonderful to meet the man whose younger photo that I saw at their home looked exactly like her son Matthew. I had an opportunity to speak with him a few times beyond hi and hello. I remember Kimberly was in the hospital and and Barry was at work so it was me Bella and her father at the house. He spent time with Bella, she played with him and I check periodically to make sure he was ok with her and he would say it was fine. I stepped away because I wanted him to have his memory with her, I remember them being so cute together, I would watch them a little until they saw me. She would tell him what to do as best she could (my little leader in the making). I now wish I had thought to take pictures. I remember having time to talk with him, he told me about oil pulling which has great benefits for the body and he shared a few health tips which I try to use from time to time. He thanked me for being there and helping Kimberly and Barry, but what he did not realise and I did tell him they were the ones doing for me and anyway I could help was a joy. I had to beg them to let me help even in the tiny ways I did help. I will forever be grateful. I remember him giving me money and I told him absolutely not I kept saying no than he said ok take this $50.00 I want to thank you for helping my daughter, I told him she and her husband already paid me for the little things I do and they don't need to. I finally took it and felt bad but I remembeed someone told me of robbing someone of a blessing and I got peace there. I experienced his kindness. I am glad he knew the Lord for now I can say RIP. Should one die without knowing Christ to say rip is a waste because they will not experience peace. May God be with all of the family I am understanding this father this grand father etc knew the Lord so to see him again make sure you know Jesus too. God bless and comfort each of you in this time.

Condolence: Leah and I wanted to extend our deepest condolences to Gail, Kimberly, Taran, and Kaylyn for the loss of their brother, and father. Andy was Leah's step-father and raised her for 15 years, and he was my husband whom I loved very much. We had an incredible life in raising our daughters together. Recently, his beloved dog, Kali, almost was laid to last week as well. So I have to believe that she is now playing with him in heaven together again. One of the last trips we did together as a couple was the run for the wall from Magalia to Washington DC and visited the Vietnam Memorial Wall, and that trip touched Andy's heart in honoring his fallen comrades. He will forever been in our hearts as an incredible person and not forgotten.

Condolence From: Kimberly Shimauchi
Condolence: Hello, I am Andys first born, Kimberly. I was blessed to have been by his side during the last 2 weeks of his life. I wanted to thank those of you that were a part of my fathers life. Those who interacted with my father, knows what a cool guy he truly was. He was always outgoing to everyone whether he knew them or not. He was polite and friendly and would bend over backwards to lend a helping hand. Thank you to all who spent time with him, whether it was in person or over the phone. My father loved life, he also was a people person. He had this amazing personality that would make you want to draw near to him. But most of all, my father also loved & believed in Jesus, so for those of you who believe the same, you will surly meet him again. I wasn't able to meet a lot of his acquaintances because I live in California, but I would love to hear from anyone who would pay tribute to him on this website. Any stories you want to share, how you met my father and so on. Even if you hadn't spoken in years, please share your memories of my dad with us. My family and I would really love that, as we are all still grieving deeply for him. Hearing different stories about his life would be very comforting for us. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope your able to share some moments you had with him during his short time with us here on earth.
