The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Andrew Putnam can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Kimberly Shimauchi

Hello, I am Andys first born, Kimberly. I was blessed to have been by his side during the last 2 weeks of his life. I wanted to thank those of you that were a part of my fathers life. Those who interacted with my father, knows what a cool guy he truly was. He was always outgoing to everyone whether he knew them or not. He was polite and friendly and would bend over backwards to lend a helping hand. Thank you to all who spent time with him, whether it was in person or over the phone. My father loved life, he also was a people person. He had this amazing personality that would make you want to draw near to him. But most of all, my father also loved & believed in Jesus, so for those of you who believe the same, you will surly meet him again. I wasn't able to meet a lot of his acquaintances because I live in California, but I would love to hear from anyone who would pay tribute to him on this website. Any stories you want to share, how you met my father and so on. Even if you hadn't spoken in years, please share your memories of my dad with us. My family and I would really love that, as we are all still grieving deeply for him. Hearing different stories about his life would be very comforting for us. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope your able to share some moments you had with him during his short time with us here on earth.
