Condolence: I hope you all did alright over Mother's Day. Geri/your Mom was a real presence and "there for you" and many. Remember that the cross of Christ meant something to Geri/Mom; now perhaps HE can be your Rock, instead. She loved what she loved with her heart, hands and head, and her soul was sound (though maybe she had a few extra elbows at times!) But the cross of Christ meant something to her - that Big, thick, black, heavy cross but which releases resurrection Life. The entry point - the bridge - to eternity with the Father. Where she is right now, enjoying His powerful loving presence! Blessings, Karin

Condolence: From the time Geri first peeked her head around her classroom door and invited me to lunch, I have enjoyed a friendship that has made her seem more like a sister. Always supportive, able to see a new aspect or solution to any problem, Geri was an eternal optimist and my cheerleader. I remember a picture she once showed me of her self and her siblings standing on a tree branch like fledglings about to fly off to life. And fly she did! She successfully balanced being a professional, wife, mother, musician, artist, and entrepreneur, as well as activities in many community organizations. I admired her so much for the busy life she led! She was always reading a new book or eager to tell me about some new interest. As an artist, she used her many talents in music, knitting, quilting, sewing, and painting. She was a true Renaissance person, and taught not only me so much, but many generations on Grays Harbor. I feel honored to have known this person. Geri exemplified Noblesse Oblige. Geri will be sorely missed. She'll never be forgotten.

Condolence: Dear Keri and Becky, I have so many fond memories of your mother for Steven and myself. My latest was of how she rushed over with cash for me after my house flooded before I thought anyone even knew about it. Unfortunately, I have a class on the day of the service, but you will all be in my memory forever. God Bless, Susan Davis (the 4-H cat rescuer). I will donate to the book fund at the school.

Condolence: My sincerest condolences to your family. I'm glad I got to meet and get to know Geri. She was such a great light in this world, one the shone brightly and happily for the rest of us to follow. She helped lift me up in a time of sadness in my life and I'll always remember that and thank her for that..... She'll be greatly missed by the rest of us down here on good ol Spaceship Earth.

Condolence: My family and I have many fond memories of Geri and her lovely family. When I first met Geri I was a new teacher, wife and mother. She took me under her warm, welcoming wings and taught me so many valuable lessons. After our first visit to her home, my husband looked back at her beautiful family and said this is what I want for our children. In the early years we raised our kiddos without T.V. We dabbled in music, dance and art lessons. We enjoyed many walks and hikes in the peaceful outdoors. Geri always made us laugh or smile and gave us comfort. Hope we can somehow pass that comfort onto you Greg, Becky and Keri.

Condolence: I played for many years in the GH Symphony and pit orchestras with Geri. She was a talented musician, and I always enjoyed visiting with her. I know she will be missed very much by her family and everyone who knew her. Rest in peace, my friend.

Condolence: Geri took me under her wing when I was a substitute teacher and entrusted her amazing young students to me so many times in 2008. That class room was always a sanctuary of music, books and chaos and Geri always made me feel better when I ran into her in the halls. Her beautiful smile, gentle nature, Geri leaves a legacy of love for music, reading and so much more in those students and inexperienced subs like I was. My heart and prayers go out to her family and all who know this beautiful lady! Blessings

Condolence: Geri taught me so much about being a kindergarten teacher. Her legacy lives on every day as I use all the wisdom she gave me to touch more little lives. I hope this gives you a tiny bit of comfort as you mourn her loss. She has touched many lives, and will be missed so much.

Condolence: My daughter was a student in her kindergarten class at Stevens and she was a very nice person I always enjoyed helping out with the class when needed and even though my daughter has been out of school for awhile now everytime I saw Mrs. Stubb she would always ask how she was doing. I am very sad to hear of her passing. She was not only a nice person but a great teacher as well
