Obituary for Geraldine Ruth "Geri" Stubb
Geraldine “Geri” Ruth Offrink Stubb, 1948-2017
Geri was born and raised in Michigan, and was a long time resident of Grays Harbor County. She approached life with great strength, optimism, and generosity. Geri retired after 40 years as an educator, the majority within the Aberdeen School District. She was involved in many community organizations, including the Gallery of Ocean Shores, the Healing Gallery and Lobby Art at Grays Harbor Community Hospital, Grays Harbor Symphony as well as other local musical, artistic, and educational activities. She died from complications related to cancer March 26th, 2017 in the presence of her husband Greg and children Becky and Kerri. Services are being planned and will be announced when details become available. In lieu of flowers, it is requested donations be made to the Stevens School Library: In C/O Stevens School PTSO 301 South Farragut Aberdeen, WA 98520 (please note “For Books in Memory of Geri Stubb”); or the North Beach Artist Guild Scholarship Fund: North Beach Artists Guild, C/O Sharon Gochoel Scholarship Committee, PO Box 1869, Ocean Shores, WA 98569.
