Obituary for Robert William Munn

Robert W. Munn was born in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho in 1954 of William and Alice Munn. He was taken from us suddenly and unexpectedly on March 15, 2017. Bob was a talented craftsman and custom cabinet maker who loved to out his skills to work for family and friends.

His Christian belief and love was reflected in his actions, his deeds, and sharing his God given talents by creating beautiful works for those he loved. He worked as a Cabinet Maker and Shop Foreman for Quality Millwork and most recently Journeyman Cabinets. He worked for over 40 years in that trade until taking early retirement in 2016.

Bob was much loved and respected by his family and friends. He was a proud and loving father for Michael Munn and Christy (Kinch), and dearly loved his beautiful little granddaughter Emma, and his friend and son-in-law Dallas Kinch.

He is survived by his mother, father, two sisters; Mary (Dorchak), and Linda (Walters), his mother-in-law Susan Lehinger, his beloved wife Valerie and his children, granddaughter, and many dear brothers and sisters by marriage and all his nieces and nephews.

Our family will deeply feel the loss of Bob, but can take comfort in the words of our Lord Jesus who promised: “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live.” (John 11:25) Services will be held at 1:00 pm at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 316 E. 24th Ave., Spokane, on Saturday, March 25. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to the Union Gospel Mission.
