I got to know the "LT" when I was sixteen and working in a gas station. The "LT" was a road deputy then, wearing those military style caps, would park his green and white patrol car at the station and have dinner with his wife, who was working at the Canton Cafe. All of the old gaurd would eat there.
He always treated me with respect and always had time to talk.
Several years later I ended up at GHSO and to my suprise the "LT" was there. He taught me alot on how to do law enforcement. the correct way. His first concern was for our safety. I would have gone into any type of battle with him. He had the respect of everyone he worked with.
The Patrick family can be proud to have the "LT" in their tree. He was a good, no, a great man. I'm honored to have known him Paul
