Obituary for Mark Everett Greninger

Mark Everett Greninger was born January 24, 1956 in Pendleton, Oregon to Robert & Mildred Greninger, who predeceased him. He passed to heaven on February 11, 2017.

Mark spent his childhood in Oregon and Alaska, before settling in Aberdeen in 1963. This is when he discovered his love of fishing and passion for music. He attended Weatherwax High School and worked for several companies including ITT Rayonier, Saginaw Shingle Co., and Grays Harbor Paper.

He met his wife at church in Aberdeen and they made their home in the Wishkah Valley. They are lifelong followers of God and are members of the World of Praise in Hoquiam. For many years, he sponsored several children at Tupelo Children’s Mansion in Tupelo, Mississippi.

Mark adored and is survived by his wife of 37 years, Bonita (Blahut) Greninger. He is also survived by his two sons, Mark Everett Greninger II of Aberdeen and Evan Tracey (Britani) Greninger, of Everett WA. He is also survived by his brothers Robert Jr. (Dee) Greninger of Hoquiam; Harley (Judy) Greninger of Sequim; Kenneth (Tami) Greninger of Montrose, Colorado; and his sister Christine (Jim) Vizena of Elma.

A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held at NOON Friday, February 17 at River of Life Fellowship, 308 W. King, Aberdeen, WA.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a contribution to honor Mark’s passion of music and his long time involvement in the music ministry at church.
