Obituary for Carolyn Mae Stacie

Carolyn Mae  Stacie
Carolyn Mae Stacie of Aberdeen passed away Monday, January 30, 2017 at Grays Harbor Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was 80. Carolyn was born on September 30, 1936 to Ralph and Alma (Jonsson) Endresen in Aberdeen, WA. She graduated from Hoquiam High School.

On September 15, 1956 she married George Elliot Stacie. Together they celebrated many years of marriage.

For over 30 years Carolyn worked as a cook at many restaurants in the Aberdeen and Hoquiam area. She retired in 1991. Once retired she enjoyed gardening, crocheting, knitting and taking care of her grand kids. She also, spent some time in Soldatna, AK.

Carolyn is survived by her sons Ralph Stacie of Cosmopolis and Michal Stacie of Hoquiam; daughters Georganne Roberts of Soldotna, AK, Carol Priebe of Amanda Park, WA and Sherri Gill of Hoquiam, WA; grandchildren Daniel Priebe of Amanda Park, WA, Nicole Liu of Olympia, WA, Jarid Roberts of Soldotna, AK, Christopher Stacie of Cosmopolis, WA, Jolene Stacie of Aberdeen, WA, and Amber Gill of Hoquiam, WA; and 9 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband George E. Stacie; brother Ralph Endresen; and grandson David Priebe.

Carolyn will be inurned at Sunset Memorial Park in Hoquiam, WA. At Carolyn’s request there will be no services held.
