Condolence: My deepest heartfelt condolences to Rita and the Groce family,
I worked at the front desk of St. Mary's Parish in Aberdeen, Washington. I loved when Ed & Rita would come in to the office. Ed had the best sense of humor and always made me laugh. He sure was a bright spot in my day! I also assisted with funeral planning at St. Mary Parish.
Ed & Rita were always very helpful and never said no when a Eucharistic Minister was needed for a funeral Mass. I was grateful to be able to count on them.
Ed, thank you for your service sir and rest in peace seated at the right hand of Almighty God. Rita, may you find some peace at this time knowing what a wonderful wife and friend you were to your husband.
Please know I will say Ed's name during the Intercessory Prayers at Scared Heart Catholic Church in Seattle, on Wednesday, December 28, at the 12:10 p.m. Mass.
May Almighty God console you at this time.
