Obituary for Judy Teruko Clark (Araki)

Judy Teruko Clark (Araki)
Judy Teruko Clark passed away peacefully January 4, 2016 in Olympia surrounded by her family. Judy was born October 30, 1927 in Kumamoto, Kyushu, Japan. She married Craig Clark November 17, 1950 and came to the United States in 1954. They were married 47 years.
She loved sports and was very proud she and Craig were named Mr. & Mrs. Football in 1978 at the local high school. She was a dedicated fan of her children’s sporting events and then all her grandchildren’s games, from T-ball to college. She rarely missed any games.
Judy always had a smile for you and would make you laugh with her sense of humor. She was a devoted and kind mother and grandmother always there for her family. She will be truly missed by those who knew and loved her. Her passing has left a void that cannot be filled.
Judy is survived by her children, Linda (Bruce), Tom (Heather), 6 grandchildren, Ashley, Cale, Shay, Taylor, Dillon, Shelby, 2 great-grandchildren, Camille and Hendrix, a very special niece, Marti (Jim), sisters, Yaeko and Kyoko and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband Craig, she was preceded in death by her parents Aiki and Kin Koyama, and two brothers, Shigeo and Noboru.
Judy’s wishes were to have a family graveside service which will be held at a later date. Linda and Tom would like to thank our extended family , friends and for mom’s friends for their friendship and support to her throughout the years.
A special thank you to Harrison Family Mortuary and especially Nathan. You are a blessing!
