Obituary for Patsy Ann Aubuchon (Valentine)

Patsy Ann  Aubuchon (Valentine)
Patsy A. Aubuchon, 68, of Montesano passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and friends on November 2, 2015 in Aberdeen, WA. She was the daughter of Lyle and Lillian (Beardslee) Valentine, born 1947 in Aberdeen, WA. In 1969, she married Norman E. Aubuchon, he passed away in 2006.
Patsy is survived by her children Angi, Toni, Matt (Shelley) Aubuchon; her sisters Mary Secor and Cindy Bowe and her step-father Charlie Norris. In addition to her husband she was also preceded in death by her father Lyle Valentine, mother Lillian Norris and both grandparents Silver and Alice Valentine and William and Ada Beardslee.
Patsy graduated from Montesano High School in 65. She graduated from Lacey Beauty College in 93. She worked for the State of Washington Fish and Wildlife, McDonald’s, as a beautician and had also worked as a bookkeeper for her husband in Southeast Alaska.
Patsy was a member of 4-H, Alaska Women in Timber, City of Craig council member and a Board Elder for the Montesano Church of God.
Patsy hobbies were attending and watching NASCAR, World of Outlaw and dirt racing, huge supporter of Jason Reed and enjoyed watching him race his sprint car in Elma and Yakima, knitting, crafts, crocheting, she helped with Christmas for Kids, Children of Promise and Operation Christmas Child.
Patsy loved entertaining, hosting parties, and working in the kitchen at church.
A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on November 20th at the Montesano Church of God a potluck reception will follow. Patsy's family asks that you wear pink, purple or Seahawks shirts to the service.
In lieu of flowers (family is allergic) donations can be made to the Montesano Church of God Building Fund or Child of Promise in memory of Patsy.
