The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Rodger Doll can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

One Year Gone, but not Forgotten

Although we lived distances apart, Rodger always rembered me and kept "track" of what was going on in my life.

When I was in the Navy Rodger would on many occasions go and visit my folks in Aberdeen, and as we all know, Rodger would just spend time with my folks "shooting the breeze" about our growing up times together.

Rodger was a very thoughtful person.  When I came back from overseas and arrived at the SeaTac airport, he told my mom, I'll go get him it's too long a trip for you especially since I was coming in late at night. How thoughtful!

Even though we didn't see much of each other over the years, I will always remember and miss the "old guy".
