Obituary for Terry Oliver "T.O." Thompson
Terry Oliver Thompson
Terry Oliver Thompson also known as T.O. age 70, passed away April 19th 2015 from complications of heart disease.
Terry was born in Aberdeen on December 14, 1944
to George and Evelyn Thompson.
He graduated from Ocosta high School in 1964 and had also attended Grays Harbor College.
He worked for a short time at Lamb’s Grays Harbor as a draftsman.
He retired from Weyerhaeuser as log stacker operator in May of 2007.
In 1965 he married Terry D. Graham in Grayland, they later divorced.
Together they had 3 children, Tammy, Tanya, and Terry (Dean)
He is survived by his daughter Tanya & Greg Gitchel, Aberdeen
his son Terry (Dean) Thompson & Jean Iverson of the family home.
His grandchildren Gregory & Jenny Gitchel, Gordon, and Elizabeth Gitchel
Nathan Anderson, Kenny & Noelle Thompson, Arvid, Louise, and Clayton Anderson
Terry & Sarah Thompson, Tyler, Tiffany Thompson and Courtney McCormick he also had 9 great grandchildren all from the Grays Harbor area.
He is also survived by his sister Patricia & Lyle Young of Cosmopolis, his brother Chuck & Edda Thompson of Ocosta as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents George and Evelyn Thompson, his sister Connie Lang and his daughter Tammy Thompson-Anderson
Terry enjoyed making his 5 bean casserole for all the family gatherings, writing poetry, scrapping junk, going to the casino, and spending time with his family and friends
There will be a pot luck memorial service in his honor May 1, 2015 2:00pm at the Cosmopolis Lions club. A book of memories is available at harrisonfamilymortuary.com
