Splunking

A few years back I visited Cindy and Tony and the two kids while she was pregnant with Aria in northern California. She was so excited for me to come out and visit her and made plans to hike up in the Shasta mountains and go "splunking" in the valley.  Now as many of you already know, Cindy always had a plan, she loved to entertain and definately loved to spark your soul with crazy and sometimes scary situations.

The night before we had planned to go caving, she told me that I just MUST see this new movie that came out, and that she had rented it and had planned on popping popcorn and watching it with me deep into the evening.  As the lights were dimmed and the kids were down for the night she giggled her way to the TV as she put the DVD in.  I thank Cindy for introducing me to the most terrifying and horrific movie I have ever watched about creepy horrible blind monsters that are hidden deep down in the cave systems. Such an appropriate movie for the next days travels.... Neeless to say, the next day while we were in the caves, she couldn't help to mimic noises from the movie and run off into the corner and giggle.

I love you Cindy, you always kept the excitement going in our lives and there will truly never be another person like you on this earth.  We were blessed to have you as long as we did!
