Cheryl Renee Amsbury Dombroski of Hoquiam, Washington passed away peacefully at Providence St Peter Hospital Saturday January 24, 2015 with her loving family by her side. She was 48 years young.
Cheryl was born March 13, 1966 in Aberdeen to Clifford and Karen (Cain) Amsbury and was raised in Humptulips. She also lived in Longview with her family for ten years before moving back and residing im Hoquiam in 2005. Cheryl graduated from Quinault High School in 1984 and married the love of her life Kenneth Dombroski in Aberdeen on June 20, 1987. Together they raised two loving children.
Cheryl worked for the Grays Harbor Country Club and was also a CNA and a devoted homemaker. She was a member of 4H as a child, loved playing bingo and had a huge compassion for children and animals. Her greatest passion of all was the love of her grandchildren. She loved being a grandmother. Even though it was not enough time, her feisty attitude and good looks make her the special person she was.
Cheryl is survived by her loving husband; Kenneth at the family home in Hoquiam, her son; Jason Amsbury of Elma, her daughter; Justine Dombroski of Hoquiam, her granddaughter; Brooke Amsbury, her grandson; Rafe Macmillan, her parents; Clifford and Karen Amsbury, and her brother Darrell Amsbury of Humptulips.
A private service will be held for the immediate family at Fern Hill. A celebration of Cheryl’s life will be open to friends and family and be held at the Humptulips Grange on Saturday February 7th at 1:30 p.m.
