Obituary for James Robert "Jim" Edinger


James (Jim) Edinger passed away peacefully at his home in Aberdeen on Tuesday December 2, 2014 with his family at his side. He was 70.
Jim was born on Feb. 25, 1944 to Joseph and Flo (Waterston) Edinger and raised in Aberdeen. Jim also lived a short time in Port Townsend.
Jim graduated from Weather Wax High School in 1962. On October 11, 1968 Jim married the love of his life Barbara Muller in Aberdeen. Together they raised four daughters and a son.
Jim proudly served his country in the Navy and worked as a truck driver, a mechanic and for Mayr Brothers.
Jim belonged to the Nutz Car Club. He loved to commercial fish with his father.
Jim is survived by his loving wife Barb at the family home, his Daughters; Dawn (Steve) Fillo, of Hoquiam, Deanna (Mark) Fountain, of Soap Lake, Washington, Dia (Brian) Nickelson, of The Dalles, Oregon, Debra (Richard) Barrett ,of Hoquiam, a son; Darren (Stephnie) Aamons. one sisters; Carol Ann Edinger of Soap Lake, Washington, his grandchildren Ashley, Adin, Jessie, Jessica, Jacen, Felicia Fillo, Anna and Sammy Barrett, Rylan Nickelsen, and Nephews Mark (Tiffany) and Mike (Denise) Malone as well as many other loving nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his sister Eva Jo-Ann Edinger Brigman.
